Heather Berndt is a Spokane-based designer who specializes in identity design and marketing communications for professional services and non-profits. In other words, she helps accountants, firefighters, doctors, dentists, arborists, educators and other technical do-gooders look snazzy. With a background in sales, marketing, public relations and communications, Heather brings a well-rounded perspective to the design process that translates to more effective outcomes for her clients.
Heather received an Associate of Arts with Honors from Whatcom Community College and is completing a Bachelors Degree in communications from Eastern Washington University. She is a past Board member for Spokane MarCom.
When not designing for Lemonade, Heather is active in several communities that promote Spirituality and the Arts, including the Monastery of Saint Gertrude, a Benedictine community in Cottonwood, ID, where she is a facilitator in the Embracing the Artistic Call cohort.
Wondering about the name?
Well, it all goes back to childhood. After all, doesn’t everything? The year was 1972 and Heather lived in Ritzville, Washington, right across the street from a little Nazarene Church. On sunny Sundays she ran a successful lemonade stand called The Little Oasis.
